Project Summary

Apostolic Church of Barberton, OH was looking for a video display system to replace legacy projection equipment. After working through the challenges of hunting for a better projection solution, considering the space and use of the display, and comparing price vs quality for both LED video display and projection technology, Apostolic Church chose Neoti as a LED partner.

About Apostolic Church

Apostolic Church of Barberton, OH is a lively church built to accommodate about 1500 people in a 180° seating arrangement. Apostolic Church leaders use their display system as a communication tool to broadcast video announcements, identify speakers, display music lyrics, show scriptures, present informational slides, and provide instruction during worship courses.

The Challenge

Paul Pamer, Senior Pastor of Apostolic Church in Barberton, OH along with church leadership was in the market for a new quality projector that could accommodate the space (seating for around 1500 in a 180° seating arrangement) and compete with the significant amount of ambient lighting they were struggling with on a weekly basis. Since attendees of the church are frequently invited to move toward the front during service, the screen had to be crisp and clear from a distance and up close.

With all of these requirements in mind, Apostolic Church leaders started pricing the type of projection necessary to meet their needs. The price of such high caliber projection shocked church leaders. Naturally, they started weighing their options. LED was considered.

The Solution

Apostolic Church leaders discovered that when they compared costs, the cost of LED video display was attainable from where they were with projection.

A Google search led to Neoti. Senior Pastor, Paul Pamer was impressed that he could walk into the Neoti headquarters, talk to the owner, meet the team, and actually see the product he would be purchasing. The decision to go with Neoti for a LED partner was made.

The Results

Apostolic Church’s LED displays have been well received. The new video displays have truer blacks and increased color contrast that create a more engaging experience. The screens provide wall to wall color ensuring no real estate is wasted.

Importantly, the functionality of the LED display outshines that of the previously used projection system. The screens are easily read up close and far away. The new LED displays shine bright and are easy to read despite the abundance of ambient lighting in the church.
